New Website Design: 5x Fewer Visitors Leaving, 2x More Clients
A website either helps sales or hinders it.
Motorott.ee e-shop shows how much a new and well-thought-out website can change. Within months, speed, traffic, and user experience all improved, bringing in more customers.
Here is Motorott before and after the updates:

Why was the decision made to update?
Motorott sells moped spare parts and seasonal demand places high expectations on e-shop sales.
Before the season started, the site's loading speed was slow and the design was outdated. Visitors did come, but few stayed around.
The question arose: stay with the old website and accept low sales, or take the risk and finally change something?
Results after the website upgrade
Together, we redesigned Motorott's online store both visually and technically. The focus was on a simple and fast user experience, especially on mobile. Here are the results after 2 months:
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| 📱 Mobile speed | 32% | 88% |
| 🖥️ Desktop speed | 71% | 92% |
| 👥 Website visitors | 900 users | 2100 users |
| 👀 Page views | 3400 | 8500 |
| ⏱️ Average visit duration | 17sec | 1min 24sec |
| ↩️ Bounce rate | 75% | 32% |

What happened?
⚡ When a page is slow, the customer has to wait longer
The longer a customer has to wait, the higher the chance of losing them.
Website analysis shows that loading speed over 2s is too slow and anything exceeding 3-4s is very slow.
In summary, website optimization made loading 77% faster, meaning the site is no longer annoying for customers and this increases visitor satisfaction.
🚀 Visitor numbers rose quickly
After the changes, it was immediately visible how people spent more time on the website and this signals to search engines that your page is valuable and deserves a higher position in search results.
⏱️ Visit duration
Average visit duration increased 5 times, which is a clear sign that people are no longer afraid of the website.
↩️ Bounce rate
The number of visitors leaving decreased by over 2 times, which also confirms that the website is no longer confusing and off-putting. People leave because:
- the design is outdated
 - the page is cluttered with information
 - the page is slow

A neglected website leaves an untrustworthy impression and marks the product or service as equivalent. Information overload scares and frustrates people because they have to waste an incredible amount of time to find something.
What to learn from this?
Put yourself in the customer's shoes and look at your page with fresh eyes and answer these questions:
- Did my website open quickly?
 - Is the design modern?
 - Is navigation simple and logical?
 - Is there a moderate amount of information on the page?

If you can answer these questions positively, then you are on the right track! If some of these questions don't apply to your website, then you are in the danger zone, because customers are often impatient and if problems remain unsolved, sales cannot increase.
Revenue is not increased by lots of advertising money but by a strong website.
